Data Deletion Instructions

These instructions explain how individuals can request deletion of personal information held by Reel Vanta Creative Inc., a Washington corporation operating under the brand Reel Vanta Creative. They also explain how to remove a Facebook or Meta integration and request deletion of information associated with that integration.

Your Right to Deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected about you. California residents may exercise deletion rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other applicable jurisdictions may request erasure under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar privacy laws.

We will not discriminate against you for submitting a valid privacy request. Certain information may be excluded from deletion when applicable law permits or requires us to retain it.

What We Delete

After verifying an eligible request, we will delete or permanently de-identify personal information associated with the requester from our active systems. Depending on your interactions with us, this may include your name, contact details, submitted inquiry content, marketing preferences, account or social-platform identifiers, integration data, access credentials or tokens stored for a connected service, and related technical records that are no longer required for security or operational purposes.

We will also instruct relevant service providers to delete covered information when required and reasonably possible. Information contained in system backups may remain temporarily until the backups are securely overwritten through our normal retention cycle.

What We May Retain

Reel Vanta Creative Inc. may retain limited information when necessary to comply with federal, state, or international law; respond to lawful government requests; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; detect security incidents or fraud; enforce agreements; or maintain the integrity of our systems. We may also retain transaction documentation and legal, tax, accounting, and audit records for the periods required by applicable law. Retained information will remain restricted to the purpose requiring its retention and will not be used for unrelated marketing.

How to Request Deletion

Send your request to [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request. To help us locate the correct records, include:

  1. Your full name.
  2. The email address or telephone number you used when interacting with Reel Vanta Creative.
  3. A clear statement that you want your personal information deleted.
  4. A description of the service, form, account, campaign, or integration involved.
  5. If applicable, the Facebook or Meta account name or user identifier connected to our service.
  6. The country and state or region where you reside so we can apply the appropriate privacy requirements.

Please do not email passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Data from Facebook/Meta

If you connected a Facebook or Meta account to a Reel Vanta Creative service, first remove the integration through your Facebook settings. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy, select Settings, locate Apps and Websites or Business Integrations, select the applicable Reel Vanta Creative integration, and choose Remove.

Removing the integration stops future access but may not automatically delete information previously provided to us. To request deletion of associated data, email [email protected] using the instructions above. Identify the request as involving Facebook or Meta data so we can locate the relevant records.

Verification

We may take reasonable steps to verify that the requester is the person to whom the information relates. Verification may include confirming control of the email address used with our service or requesting limited details that match our records. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require evidence of the agent’s authority and direct confirmation from the individual. Any verification information will be used only to process the request.

Timeline

We will confirm receipt of a deletion request within 7 days. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. If additional time is reasonably necessary because of request complexity, legal obligations, or difficulty locating records, we will explain the reason and provide an updated expected completion date.
